Our Services
Tips Tree Service provides an array of urban forestry services:
TREE PRUNING
Pruning is an essential component of building a sustainable and robust urban forest. Young trees, especially ones purchased from nurseries, often require structural pruning to ensure their integrity in urban landscapes.
Structural pruning is a process in which weak, defective, or undesirable branches are targeted and either reduced or removed. Structural pruning is also ideal for promoting visibility around businesses with trees, as the trees then maintain clearances around buildings and signs.
Other pruning services are to provide clearances for structures, removing deadwood, thinning, among other possible reasons.
TREE REMOVAL
Sometimes, trees need to be removed. Whether it’s because the tree has died, is dangerous, or just not wanted by the homeowners, Tips can safely remove trees from the landscape. Our climbers make an individualized plan for each removal and will use rigging systems to remove material over houses and other assets.
CABLING &
SUPPORT
Some trees require cabling if they have unstable unions that are too large to be pruned and removed.
Cabling supports the weak union, while still allowing the tree some flexibility to move. All systems are installed as per ANSI A3000 standards.
TREE PLANTING
Planting is a crucial component of tree care. How a tree is planted directly affects how successful the tree will be. Proper planting often involves separation of the root ball to prevent root circling, root pruning, setting planting depth, pruning, and more. Our team will ensure that your tree gets off to the right start.
The photo on the right shows what can happen if trees are not planted properly.
